This training aims to prepare participants to design and lead SkyDancing Tantra workshops and retreats.
It emphasizes:
- methodologies for creating practices and designing programs;
- facilitation techniques;
- supporting students in developing their personal vision of Tantra, grounded in a full understanding of its essence and core characteristics;
- deepening their knowledge of SkyDancing Tantra;
- understanding individual and group dynamics;
- creating safe exploratory spaces;
- developing a stable and ethical posture;
- co-creation and co-facilitation as tools for personal growth.
This training is structured around a list of approximately 90 teaching items. This pedagogical backbone is divided into five categories:
- general approach to Tantra;
- creating workshops and retreats;
- SkyDancing-specific practices and other tools;
- designing one’s own practices;
- managing a workshop or retreat.
Students will learn how to facilitate Tantra workshops and retreats while also continuing their own personal development, which will be approached in various ways throughout the training. In particular, we choose to support students’ personal growth by offering numerous opportunities to co-create and co-facilitate practices, sometimes in “constraint-based” environments. We provide space to discuss personal processes that emerge from these collaborations. In this way, our students are trained to maintain emotional stability even under pressure (which undoubtedly arises when facilitating Tantra retreats!).
Each module will focus on a certain number of these teaching items. The teachers in charge of each module choose their own ways and methods to present the content to the students (theoretical teachings, Q&A, creation and facilitation of practices, or many other methods).
A PDF manual will be provided for each module, containing both theoretical and practical content.
Additional information may be communicated later to those whose application is accepted..
We are committed to offering you the opportunity to learn from a diversity of experienced teachers from our SkyDancing Tantra community, so that you can witness the many different ways Tantra workshops can be offered.
We do not wish to create a single model nor provide one sole source of inspiration for what it means to teach or embody Tantra.
Laurence Heitzmann and Laurent Lacoste will teach the first and last modules and will supervise the entire training.
Margot Anand will support this program under conditions that remain to be determined, depending in particular on her ability to travel during the relevant periods.
Red Thread: a dedicated lead teacher will support the pedagogical continuity throughout the curriculum. This teacher will be present at every module of the training, with the mission of ensuring the overall follow-up of each student’s evolution across the modules.
Assistants: several different certified teachers will be present at each module, serving the training as a whole, supporting the lead instructors, accompanying you as students, and assisting you when you lead practices for your peers.
